Xiaomei Yang – Research Associate

Xiaomei Yang is Research Associate in the Research Center on Computing & Society and Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Southern Connecticut State University. She received her Research Associate in the Research Center on Computing & Society and Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Southern Connecticut State University. She received her PhD in Philosophy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She specializes in Chinese Philosophy and Religion and also Ethical Theory. She taught at East Tennessee State University, University of Nebraska at Omaha, The College of New Jersey, and Temple University before she joined the Department of Philosophy at Southern Connecticut State University in 2007. She does research in early Chinese Philosophy, Metaethics and Moral Psychology. She has published articles in History of Philosophy Quarterly, Metaphilosophy, Southwest Philosophy Review, Philosophy Compass, and Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy.
